Detroit Project

Half September Kraaijeveld has been in Detroit MI to salvage wood in abandoned buildings all over the city. He will be guided by a local photographer who knows every deserted area by heart.

Back in Holland Kraaijeveld will build three ´Icons of Hope´ with the Detroit wood. The pieces will be exhibited and sold/auctioned later in 2010. All the proceeds will go back to the Detroit community through ´The Detroit Unreal Estate Project´.
