Cup of Coffee (detail)

From the serie ´Drinks´: Cup of Coffee (detail). This work is mainly done in old floor planks from an old mansion (´herenhuis´) in the center of the 4th largest city of Holland, Utrecht.

When Oudhout was hauling wood (white planks) from the dumpster in front of that house, the owner told him he would remove the floor of another room a week later. Those were really nice blue-grey planks, over one hundred years old!
